Lost Weekend In Hell ( part 2 the cowgirl )

When I awoke it was three days later and I became aware of a very uncomfortable stabbing pain in my back. I opened my eyes and the light shot into my head like a hammer full of piss and vinegar. Slowly like a fog lifting off a filthy harbor my senses came back to me. First was pain, and then came fear. I realized I was lying across the front seat of a car and the stick shift was poking me in the b… Continue

Lost Weekend In Hell (part 1)

I was, 21 years old, still young and full of bravado. I was too young to know any better, and to stupid to care. I think the poets call it “young, dumb and full of cum.”

At the time, and I was traveling and working in the Eastern United States. My friend and I were wandering the streets of downtown Detroit in a drunken stupor.
For anyone who has never been there, Detroit is one of the craziest cities in the world. The difference between having a good time or getting shot in the face is a simple… Continue

locked cocked and loaded

Roughhausen's new EP "Someone's Got to Pay" 5 songs of power-electronics, stompy EBM and electro-acoustic psychosis. This EP starts with a fist and just keeps pounding away until the very last last note dies away, unwilling to go gently into that good night.

Dimension Films to Remake 'The Amityville Horror'...Again?

I just finished wiping away the tears of laughter as I just discovered that the Weinstein Company and Dimension Films are planning on remaking The Amityville Horror...again. Andrew Douglas directed the 2005 reboot produced by Platinum Dunes that grossed over $100m at the box office worldwide. I guess five years in the new 25? Our sources also tell us that there just might be a director already in talks to develop the project. Knowing Dimension Films, I'd expect this project to start and stop at least a dozen times before it ultimately fails. Alas horror fiends, don't stress it no matter how idiotic this sounds. The original 1979 film followed newlyweds as they move into a house where a murder was committed, and experience strange manifestations which drive them away. MGM also retains different rights and were planning on developing The Amityville Tapes, which has been put on the back burner while MGM figures out their financial woes (auction anyone?).

Giving Thanks With Eli Roth's 'Thanksgiving' Trailer

Before you head off and enjoy turkey, stuffing and all the pumpkin pie you can eat, why not say a little thanks to Eli Roth for our little holiday treat that we can now mention annually? Beyond the break you can watch Roth's faux trailer for Thanksgiving, a short that was included in Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's Grindhouse back in 2007. Roth has said he'd like to turn this into a feature one of these days; who wouldn't want a new holiday horror film to visit every November? "This holiday season prepared to have the stuffing scared out of you...."

Full Cast Revealed for Anchor Bay's 'I Spit on Your Grave' Remake

Chad Lindberg (Push), Daniel Franzese (Killer Pad, War of the Worlds), Rodney Eastman (Joey in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and 4), Sarah Butler, Jeff Branson, Saxon Sharbino, Amber Dawn Landrum have all joined Andrew Howard (Devil's Chair, Blood River, Lustig) in the remake of I Spit on Your Grave (also being filmed as Day of the Woman), which is currently lensing in Lousiana for release next year via Anchor Bay. Being directed by Steven R. Monroe (Left in Darkness), a woman is abducted, brutally attacked and raped and then left for dead. She survives, hunts her attackers and dispatches them in graphic ways.

Official One Sheet and First Hi-Res Still from 'Outcast'

From Bankside Films (Coffin Rock, from the producers of Wolf Creek) comes Colm McCarthy's buzzed about Outcast, which stars James Nesbitt, Kate Dickie, James Cosmo, Niail Bruton. Today we got our hands on the first one sheet and official still from the film that tells the tale of Petronella (a Scottish/Romany girl) and Fergal (her mysterious Irish traveller boyfriend). As their doomed relationship plays out, a Beast stalks the estate, killing locals, working its way towards our protagonists. Meanwhile Cathal and Liam, two mysterious travellers from Ireland use ritual and magic on a blood hunt. Mary, Fergal's mother performs ritual and magic of her own. As Cathal comes face to face with Mary in a vicious finale we know one thing: the Beast must die.

TV: First Images from MTV's 'Savage County'

On the heels of My Super Psycho Sweet 16, MTV is gearing up on their new made-for-online horror film. David Harris' Savage County follows a group of small town Texas high school kids who play a prank that accidentally kills an old man, they're hunted down by the man's family of murderous hillbillies. Beyond the break you'll some first stills.
